    Dr. Roger Morales was born and raised on Long Island, New York. His father is a well-traveled, retired executive with IBM, and his mother is a retired pharmacist. He graduated with honors from public high school on Long Island, and started his college career in Los Angeles at USC. Dr. Morales transferred to and subsequently graduated from Morehouse College, in Atlanta Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Morales remained in Atlanta and ultimately culminated with his medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine. His specialty training in General Pediatrics was completed at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Morales has worked as an Attending Pediatrician while mentoring medical students, medical residents, and student nurse practitioners at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. After years of experience and with a desire to branch out on his own, he opened his first private practice office, Excellent Pediatrics, in Monroe Georgia in 2005 with only one other employee. Through countless hours of hard work, determination, and a close tie to the needs of the community he serviced, Dr. Morales expanded to another thriving practice in Lilburn Georgia in 2013. Dr. Morales is Board Certified, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and formerly served as the President of Morehouse School of Medicine National Alumni Association. He donates to a variety of charitable organizations, and funds several endowments around the country; all typically centered around children's needs & issues, including an all boys school located just outside Atlanta. Dr. Morales is a graduate of the 2014 class of Leadership Atlanta and with gratitude, makes it his personal mission to be an integral part of giving back to the very community whom has uplifted him to such stature. Dr. Morales has one son ,currently enrolled in college. Dr Morales has developed an appetite for being a conscientious global citizen via cultural travel. He has traveled to six continents, over 35 States, and close to 25 countries, each time, cognizant of the needs of the locals in third world communities. Stateside, he and his son enjoy skiing, swimming, and trap shooting.
