Dr. Fleurant serves as the clinical director for the primary care clinic at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. As a Clinician Educator, he oversees medical residents and medical students in the inpatient wards and is a clinical preceptor for medical students and residents at the Grady Hospital Primary Care Clinic.
Dr. Fleurantu's main interests include trauma-informed care and its application in improving health access, health disparities and improving primary care for underserved populations, preserving the safety net for the underserved, and strengthening the field of primary care.
Dr. Fleurant received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He completed a general medicine fellowship at Harvard University School of Medicine and completed a Master's in Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health with a focus on Clinical Effectiveness.
