Dr. Aja Mccutchen is a partner and executive physician at United Digestive, one of the largest gastroenterology practices on the east coast. She has served in many leadership roles including being first black female physician executive committee, and first woman on the platforms board of directors. She serves as the national chair of diversity equity and inclusion for independent gastroenterology.
She is a community advocate for underserved patients and started the first support group in northeast georgia addressing inequities in black and brown communities with inflammatory bowel disease. In 2022, she was named Crohns and colitis physician of the year. She is active in many community organizations including Saving our daughters, co founded by Keke Palmer.
